Steven Schnurman has taught many beginners who have gone on to enjoy successful and even stellar careers in opera, broadway, movies, television, popular and rock music.
 


Lacey Chabert

Appeared as Young Cosette and Gavroche in "Les Miserables" on Broadway, as Penny Robinson in the movie, "Lost in Space" and as Gretchen Wieners in the movie, "Mean Girls". She performed the singing voices of Tanya Mousekewitz in "An American Tail" and Young Anastasia in "Anastasia". Lacey was Claudia Salinger in the hit TV series "Party of Five" and as Brooke Ellison in the TV movie "Brooke Ellison, directed by Christopher Reeve

 

J.D. Daniels

Played Gavroche in "Les Miserables" on Broadway, Pete in the movie "The Mighty Ducks", and such TV series as "The Nanny", "Mad About You", "Going Places", and "Kate and Allie".

 

Demaree Alexander

Appeared as Young Cosette in "Les Miserables" on Broadway and went on to do the National tours of "The Secret Garden" and "Big". Demaree is now a country recording artist.

 

Donna Harris

Performed with numerous artists such as Enya and Garth Brooks, appearing on the Grammy telecast, Late Night with David Letterman and Rosie O'Donnell, as well as commericials and numerous voiceovers. Donna has traveled extensively performing on four continents and continues to perform throughout Europe, most recently in Begium and on the island of Mykonos in Greece.

 

Sandra Partridge

Australian born Soprano, Sandra Partridge, made her solo debut in 1998 with Opera Australia as Susanna in "The Marriage of Figaro" and Virtue in "The Coronation of Poppea". Other roles include Zerlina "Don Giovanni", Servillia "La Clemenza di Tito", Oberto "Alcina". In Hong Kong: Nedda "I Pagliacci", and the Queen of the Night "The Magic Flute" in USA. In April 2006 she performed the role of "Queen of the night" for Bangkok Opera’s production of the Magic Flute.
Concert repertoire includes "Carmina Burana" Great Hall Sydney, Brahms "German Requiem" New England Symphony Orchestra, "Sydney Symphony Orchestral Family Concert" Sydney Opera House, "Messiah" Sydney Town Hall.
Ms Partridge has won numerous awards and prizes in National and International Competitions including "Joan Sutherland Society Scholarship", "State Bank Vocal Championship", Covent Garden Scholarship, German Operatic Award, Metropolitan Opera Awards, and San Francisco Opera "Pacific Voices" competition. In December 2005 Ms Partridge was the winner of "The Bangkok Opera International Vocal Competition".

 

These wonderful people, in addition to many other noted singers, have studied with Steven Schnurman.
